I was initially skeptical of another digital meat thermometer as I have owned a few which didn't last or hold up in using them. This one is fabulous and I'm happy to say a keeper!
I love this thing! It takes the guess work out of it. From meat doneness to bread internal temp when u think it looks done it might not be fully. Saves time on a uncooked product all around I would say GET IT! I bought all my family one for stocking stuffers
Love this thing. I had one of those small thermometers you get from the grocery store with the dial indicator that fogs up in the heat, and over time the dial wasn't turning accurately. Had I known I could get one like this one so inexpensively I'd have done it years ago. Very clear, accurate read, easy clean and storage.

I have bought many types of thermometers, but this one is the best! The others were slow to read, finicky, fragile, and sometimes hard to turn on. This one conveniently turns off when not in use even when open. It turns the display to show you the temp when it twist it around. It's been the best one out of years of the crappy ones. Definitely worth it!
Love this third digital meat thermometer that I've purchased. The two previous either failed early or were slow acting. This thermometer really is instantaneous allowing for multiple samplings on a grilling steak without burning your arm before you're done. My wife has upped my grilling report card grades as a result! 😉
I use this all the time because I want to make sure my meat is perfectly cooked. Not only does it taste better; but it is much safer. Some things like a whole chicken or Turkey, you can’t know for sure if they are done by time alone. The pop up timers in turkeys are just not accurate. I even use on chicken strips or legs alone. I also like my salmon to be well done. And of course, pork must be the correct temperature too.
Love this cooking thermometer. It's much better than others I've owned. It will do anything meat but in addition I can insert it into boiling potatoes, cook until an internal temperature of 162 F is reached and cool the potatoes off, which converts the simple into complex carbs, a trick I learned from a General Mills chemist. Potatoes will retain a firmness that will not soften upon further cooking so I so this to mini potatoes, smash them, and roast them until golden and crispy outside. nom nom nom....
Easy to read temperature gauge much better than the dial one I had which numbers were really small. Turns on and off just by pulling out the probe. Uses a regular AAA battery. The last one I had it used those little round ones that are difficult to find.
I think this is my new favorite kitchen tool. I love that it has a magnet for the fridge. It easy to use, very fast temp shows up and is easy to see. I’ve only used it once so far but would recommend it for anyone needing a new thermometer. I also loved the low price and that it arrived quickly.
This is a great tool when you’re cooking chicken, steak, or salmon—knowing when your food is done is so much easier than having to guess! I really dislike the guesswork. The battery life is good; I’ve had it for a couple of months, and it’s still working. It’s a good quality product for the price.
Really good quality for the price! I use it for my sourdough baking and it gives a great internal temp read, fast and reliable! It’s also magnetic so I can keep it on my oven or fridge when I’m not using it! It’s very sturdy and the battery life is great, decent bit of weight to it too. Overall great quality for the price I paid!

Great product and I'm beating myself up a little bit because I've never thought about buying something like this in the past. Somebody like myself that is mildly colorblind really needs this for when cooking chicken because personally I normally overcooked chicken to be safe but now with this tool knowing what internal temperature the chicken needs to get to I have been able to make some of the best chicken in my life due to this product. 100% recommended for anybody that enjoys cooking chicken lamb steak pork you name it.
I do not often write reviews. I never write them immediately after I receive a product. However, I received my instant read thermometer about a hour ago and just opened it up and everything about it was impressive and extremely functional for an exceptionally low price. I will get this out of the way that the instruction's typeface is a very small font and I an 63 but I don't think they will be needed anyway. Think iPhone. I extended the probe and the display lit up immediately. I closed it and it shut off. Very cool. I extended it again and the display came back on. This time I turned the thermometer upside down and the display rotated with it - what a great feature. I can see this being extremely useful for when you have to probe at different angles. If that wasn't enough, there is a lock button that will allow you to probe something where you cannot view the temp by simply pressing the lock button and reading it at your convenience. Finally, as I marveled at my new tool for upping my fried chicken game, I noticed the thermometer has two urethane pads so the thermometer will not slide on hard surfaces. Thank you Thermo Monster for letting me think that I am a genius for choosing your product. To anyone reading this review, this is the first instant thermometer I have ever owned. If all instant thermometers have these features and I am just unaware of it, then I still stand by my review that this thermometer is a great value.
Pros/Cons: Finally! A instant meat thermometer that's digital, can actually see the numbers and works on all different thicknesses of chicken, beef, lamb, turkey roasts or steaks. I've used this many times in the past few weeks from oven dishes to cast iron stove top pans and I love it!It shuts itself off when you wipe the probe off and close it. Ready to go the next time you need to use it again.Battery life will last longer because of that, but I haven't a clue yet as to how long it lasts or its' durability. I will update my review once I've had it for a year. I'll purchase another one if it lasts that long for me because it reliable and a great value.
Great buy! I’m new to charcoal grilling so I bought this to ensure the meat is cooked appropriately. The temp reads instantly and is final at 2 seconds tops. There are temp guidelines on the back so you’re sure to know what’s safe and what’s not. It powers on instantly when you “open” the probe and seems to be of quality material. It’s definitely not flimsy! And best of all, it has a magnet inside so you can keep it handy - mines on the side of the fridge.
